Back in March of 1998 Kenny Weston and Jerry Fox opened the South Side Pub to expand their businesses already established in Bend. That September I was hired to come in as the bar manager and bartender. After working in downtown Bend as a bartender for several years prior to coming to the South Side, I realized how much I loved the local, blue collar, hard working and fun crowd that was coming into the Pub. Two short years later on March 1 2000, Mr Weston & Mr Fox gave me the opportunity of a lifetime and offered to sell the pub to me AND they would carry the loan! I jumped at the chance to own the place, especially since I already had a connection to all the great folks coming in! We have never looked back and over 20 years later we are still enjoying everyday at the South Side Pub, making lifelong friends and meeting new people everyday! We take great pride in treating everyone like a local and being a hometown bar! We look forward to 20 more years of great times and great memories!  Come as a stranger.Leave as a friend!
